When a new app is installed, it typically introduces its own JavaScript code to the store, which can potentially conflict with existing code. If the app's JavaScript contains a bug, it may lead to errors that can disrupt the normal execution of your own JavaScript functions. This is particularly common in environments where multiple scripts are interacting with the same elements or rely on the same variables.

It is essential for developers to be aware that the introduction of third-party scripts can alter the global execution context or manipulate elements differently than expected. If the new app's JavaScript is not functioning correctly, it could cause exceptions or interfere with event listeners, leading to failure in your own JavaScript code.

Understanding how scripts interact and how to debug them is crucial in a situation where new applications or updates are added to the Shopify store. This emphasizes the importance of thorough testing after third-party apps are installed to ensure compatibility with existing functionalities.
